The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of teacher's authority from the point of view of secondary school students. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to clarify the concept of authority related to its typology and the criteria of authority breakdown. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the teacher's authority and explains the connections of discipline and behaviour with authority in relation to the teacher's educational styles. The theoretical part of the thesis concludes with the personality of the teacher and the characteristics of the selected teaching styles. In the practical part of the thesis, the main task is to find out the general perception or evaluation of authority from the pupils' point of view, as well as what mainly constitutes the teacher's authority according to the pupils, which of the teaching and educational styles positively influence the teach-er's authority and which method is most often preferred by teachers to maintain discipline in the classroom. A questionnaire survey is used to result the objectives of the practical part of the thesis. The questions are directed to the respondents, i.e., the students at a gastronomy secondary vocational school and a secondary industrial school located in the Olomouc region. As a result of the exploratory investigation of the bachelor thesis it is found that the concept of au-torita is perceived by the pupils as respecting a person. Pu-pils evaluate the concept of authority as an important basis, especially for func-tioning in our society. Through authority, order is set, order is established and leads to decency. Teacher authority is based on professional-ness, conduct, fair-ness, and consistency. A teacher can strengthen his authority through teaching and educational style which is rich in knowledge, skills and directed towards under-standing and personality development of the students. As a means of maintaining discipline, teachers should use interesting teaching that raises pupils' attention and thus helps to maintain discipline in the classroom.

Bachelor thesis ‘‘ A double view of the authority of a secondary vocational school teacher ‘‘ deals with the topic of teacher’s authority from the point of view of teachers and pupils. The aim of the work was to find out how the teacher who wants to be an authority should behave according to the pupils, and to outline in what ways teachers are currently making their authority. The practical part is focused on a general description of authority and concepts common to it. It conserns the relationship between teacher and student, the personality of the teacher and various conceptions of authority, not just the teacher himself. The practical part is focus on the view of students and teachers of secondary vocational schools on the authority of the teacher through a questionnaire survey. The respondents are pupils and teachers of the Secondary Horticultural School in Rajhrad and the Vocational School in Cvrčovice. Their answers serve as a basis for answering research questions.
Strategies for improving the class climate

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Practical part and theoretical part. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the younger school age of pupils who are the subject of the practical part of the diploma thesis. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the personality of the teacher, who is one of the main co-creators of the class climate. Diagnostic tools are described here that are used to evaluate the climate of a given class. In the practical part, I use action research to verify which methods and forms of work have led to an improvement in the climate of my class. Qualification and personal prerequisites for the profession of vocational training teacher

This bachelors thesis deals with the qualification and personal prerequisites for the profession of vocational training teacher. It points out not only the qualification of the pedagogical worker, his legal constraints and possible exceptions, obligations and rights but also his preconditions, which are a vital part of the teaching profession. The work aims to show the importance of quality education of teachers of vocational training both in terms of vocational and pedagogical, which should be an integral part of the requirements for teachers in Czech education system. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The former further is divided into three chapters, and the latter is consisted of a case study. The first chapter deals with the qualifications of pedagogical staff, their exceptions, obligations and rights of teachers. The second focuses on the teacher's personality. So the prerequisites for the profession's performance, the typology and temperament of the teacher are addressed. The third compares the course of the pedagogical minimum, its content, the range of information, knowledge and skills with the bachelor's study. Literary drama education in kindergarten

In my bachelor thesis I will present you the conception of the literary dramatic education in one particular nursery. Theoretical part defines the key terminology, describes the literary dramatic activity after curricular documents (Framework educational programme for preschool education and School education program nursery Vodňany) and development characteristics from the given age group - preschool children. The core of the work describes the basic literary genres and methods from literary dramatic area. Part of the thesis is the analysis of literary dramatic activities from one school year in nursery Vodňany (Smetanova 204). Practical part introduces the creation and verification of the set of the worksheets for the literary dramatic area with the following reflexion. This part also contains the interview with the chosen teacher from the school mentioned above.
Specifics of Piano Teaching of Preschool Children

The thesis is devoted to the specificity of playing the piano preschool children. It combines the knowledge of developmental psychology, psychology of music and piano methodology with their reflection in practical teaching piano. The work is divided into five chapters, which i s based on key publications and developmental psychology of music in the Czech republic, theoretical works of contemporary piano teachers, piano course books and a survey carried out in the framework of a diploma thesis. The first chapter deals with the level of psychological development of preschool age and its reflection in piano lessons. The second chapter discusses the level of musical abilities of the child at the same age. Chapter three outlines further specifics in teaching pre-school children, dedicated to personalities of pupil and teacher as the main creators of the educational process, it refers to the methods used in teaching and not least about the role of parents in the education of their child. The fourth chapter summarizes the methodology selected piano teaching materials suitable for teaching children of preschool age. Final Chapter complements the work of the views of piano teachers on teaching preschool children.
Deciding factors for child placement in a Montessori kindergarten

This thesis deals with the search of motives that lead parents to search for alternative pre-school facilities for their child. In particular, in kindergarten Vlasim. In the theory section I describe Montessori pedagogy but I also mention the foundress Maria Montessori. In the next chapter I introduce the blue Montessori classroom in the kindergarten Vorlina. In later chapter, I address motivation as a psychological phenomenon. This section concludes a description of used methodology which is a qualitative research conducted by semi-structured interviews. In the implementation section, I analyse data gained from particular respondents using coding and categorization. Upon this knowledge is built a particular analytical story. In conclusion of this study, I sum up the results of this research.
Teacher personality

The thesis has a theoretical and empirical nature. It focuses on issues of teacher's personality and view of 2nd Primary school for her. The first part describes personality traits, teacher and diverse teaching styles. It defines the professional competence of teachers, such as competence and communicative competence reflect on their activities. Attention is paid to define the characteristics of "good" teachers, who are the authority, assertiveness, emotional stability, sense of humor, fair evaluation, creativity and flexibility. In conclusion, the theoretical part of the established requirements and objectives for the current school teachers and the teaching profession The influence of personality. The practical part presents the results of quantitative research, which was written the method of questioning. The data obtained explain the view of 2nd Primary school teacher and a personality show, which features students assessed as significant and which forms and methods of work adopted positively.
